Background/Medical Practice
Dr Raman is a native North Carolinian. Upon graduating from Sanderson High School here in Raleigh , she was offered a unique opportunity of a combined undergraduate-medical program in India at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, a Harvard affiliate. While there, she earned a gold medal in internal medicine.
After completing a 3 month externship at Duke University Medical Center, she pursued a Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Dr Raman then did a teaching year at St Marys Medical Center in San Francisco,California.
Dr Raman is happy to call Cary home again, where she now resides with her husband and twin boys. She has been with our group since 2005.
