Cary Medical Group Earns Three Awards
On July 23, 2007 our physicians received a 3 year quality certification by the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association and the National Committe on Quality Assurance for achievement in the delivery of quality cardiovascular and stroke care. This award is given for successful achievement of multiple benchmarks necessary for the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease.
On August 21, 2007 our physicians received a three year commendation by the American Diabetes Association and the National Committee for Quality Assurance in the achievement of delivering quality diabetes care.
Cary Magazine Recognizes Cary Medical Group as one of the three "Best Doctors" in the Best of Western Wake for 2008. The other two groups were a sports medicine group and an OB/GYN group.

Walk In Minor Illness Sick Clinic
For our established patients with certain acute illnesses you can be seen Monday through Friday between 1 PM and 3 PM without an appointment. We limit this service to those with sore throat, sinus infection, ear ache, pink eye/conjunctivitis, bronchitis/cough, bladder infection, rash, acute (new) back pain, sprained ankle and allergy/hay fever.
The spirit of this clinic is that for these issues that come up with short notice but can usually be handled fairly quickly we want you to know that you can be seen by one of our doctors or our nurse practitioner. In order to make this work we cannot address other illnesses or conditions during this visit. Of course, if you prefer, you may still schedule appointments to evaluate these symptoms. Our group does work hard to keep open many same day and short notice appoitments as we anticipate needs that will arise. The walk in minor illness sick clinic is just another option now available.

We are an independent Internal Medicine group in Cary working in partnership with Raleigh Medical Group. We have seven physicians and one nurse practitioner in the practice of Internal Medicine and one Cary based Gastroenterologist. This site serves as an introduction to our staff and services.
